NISHVWN, a visual artist from Maryland showcases her artworks of distressed expressions in different types of animals. Her interest in God’s creatures, painting and sketching as well as past life experiences leads her to create dark emotional portraits of animals. Inspired by her abundance of childhood pets, most of her original works are portraits of rabbits. She uses mediums such as ink pens, digital software, and acrylic paints in her artworks to achieve the eerie appearance of rabbit faces and the details of their fur. Her paintings are done on colossal canvas pieces that she then lists for sale as prints under her brand ‘The Jax Rabbit’.
